It is impossible to define deconstruction like philosophy or Literary criticism once and for all. Jacques Derrida himself doesn't define it. Deconstruction is not a destructive activity, but it is an inquiry into the foundation of everything. Post-Structuralist critics go deep into the foundation of text and then they try to undermine it. Derrida says that every text contains element which can deconstruct itself.
As per Derrida that "Each and every text read as event and events can be read with different perspective."
SO, here as a post-Structuralist critic I found couple of example and going to deconstructed it.
Here one banner on 'Beti Bachao' by one of state government of India to save Girl from crime of foeticide. general meaning of this slogan is that give birth to the girl child and give equality but now a days in India rape cases are happening very much. So, here one can deconstruct this slogan with another view or perspective that save girl from rapist. Here, we can say that this slogan is deconstructed because Derrida says that you should read any event or text with another perspective.
- Binary opposition
A binary opposition is a pair of related terms or concept that are opposite in meaning. Binary opposition is the system by which, in language and thought, two theoretical opposites are strictly defined and set off against one another.
After above example we also take one more example of deconstruction with the theory of Binary opposition.
Here, one photo about views of Indian media (Ravish Kumar called them as 'Godi media') who always see real events with binary opposition many of journalist and News Anchors connect any kind of movie or national conflict with the religions perspective. Always debating between two religion and misdirect the people of nation and also they favouring those who in power. So, here can say that the always praising the power because they don't show fact information they only show what power wants to says.
- Langue and Parole:
In third example I'm going to use the two term of linguistic that is 'Langue' and 'Parole.' First we see the meaning of langue and parole that 'langue' is a composites of all the traits of language, the images and words that come to our mind and the sound to symbol connection that occurs when we speak. All of those stored images, words, meaning and sub-meaning comprise 'Langue'. While 'Parole' is individual utterance, Parole is the enabler of the langue, langue embrace parole.
SO, in this advertisement we can see the Army man, his duty towards nation and Hero bike so, at first glimpse we think that advertisement suggest us that we can lives freely because our Army protect us it gives us general idea that called 'Langue'. But, in my points of view this hero company emotional blackmailing people for the shake of selling their products in the name of Nation and Army. So, everyone can see it with their different perspective and deconstructed such a thing that called 'Parole'.
