Dr. Faustus task

Task on Doctor Faustus. Here is my answers.
1) The play directed by Matthew Dunster for Globe theatre ends with this scene (see the image of Lucifer). What does it signify?
1-When Dr. Faustus repenting from the depth of his heart...we can say that the tragedy of life is in what dies inside a man while he lives it means at the end of play Dr. Faustus realized that he chose a wrong path and at the end by his grief he indirectly dies inside and because of that fall of Dr. Faustus, Lucifer feel his great tripumphal against him. Thus, here the last scene of Lucifer signifies his great triumphal
.
2) Is God present in the play? If yes, where and how? If No, why?
No there is no god in the play. Because God gives us multiple choices and then rest on us that weather we choose good or bad way for our aim. And we have to ready whatever results it may has. In the play Dr.Faustus chose his own way of getting knowledge and fame. Of course God gives him some sign by sending the old man. But again choice rest on Faustus.
3) What reading and interpretation can be given to this image (see the image of Daedalus and Icarus) with reference to central theme of the play Dr. Faustus?
3-Greek myth of Icarus,a son whose father Daeduls give wings to him.wings which is Made by besswex but Icarus forget that truth ND flew closer and closer to the sun and cause of it his wings melt and he fall down on earth and died. Similarly here Dr Faustus d
Fall down from his higher position of knowledge.Lust for knowledge is good at Some level but cross the limitations it is bad... Thus we can say that this image of falling of Icarus shows the central theme of same falling of Dr. Faustus .

Review on Dryden's task

Que.1 Do you any difference between Aristotle's definition of Tragedy and Dryden's definition of Play?

Ans.1 Yes,we see difference because Aristotle says that tragedy is an imitation of an action Aristotle believes that there is natural pleasure in imitation where as Dryden define play as just and lively image of human nature representing it is passion and humorous and the change of fortune to which it is subject for the devite and instructions of man kind .

Que.2 If you are supposed to give your personal predilection, would you be on the side of the Ancient or the Modern? Please give reasons.

Ans.2  According to me, it is not necessary that Modern always tries to copy from the Ancient, may be that sometimes there is new idea also which is presented by Modern. But generally we find that many times Modern takes ideas from Ancient and tries to present it in a different and unique manner. Thus, Modern tries to explain ideas to people and show them a different way to think. So, according to me , both are appropriate with their own ideas , Ancient gives ideas and Modern tries to represent it in a different way according to current time.

Que.3 Do you think that the arguments presented in favour of the French plays and against English plays are appropriate? (Say for example, Death should not be performed as it is neither 'just' not 'lively' image, displaying duel fight with blunted swords, thousands of soldiers marching represented as five on stage, mingling of mirth and serious, multiple p

Ans.3 I think arguments are presented in the favour of English plays. The plots of French plays are barren while English ones are copious to further the same action. The English plays have numbers of plots with the main plot and audience is important because of that in English plays, there are all types of themes.

Que.4 What would be your preference so far as poetic or prosaic dialogues are concerned in the play?
Ans.4 I like poetry because dialogues of poetry are psychological and gives better understanding of human nature and the work of human mind. But it is also true that poetic language is hard to understand, for illiterate also and prosaic dialogues are easy to understand by every people.

Aristotle and Plato's objection task

I agree to plato's objection to freedom of expression and artistic liberty enjoyed by creative writers. If we want to live a good life then we should live life with morality but if we want to live freedom full life then we should follow Aristotle's views.

> According to me plato is right because there are so many movies, magazines, serials are creating bad impression in society and spoiled the mind of people.

> There are some imaginative serials and movie like Shaktiman, spiderman ,batman these all imaginative things children try at their home and that is not good for them. And also many movies from Hollywood and Bollywood are not good for youths because they show necked scenes therefore youth of the world spoiled their mind and also spoiled society.

> During my B.A program, I studied the tragic play 'Othello' the protagonist of the play is himself Othello. We feel all these things like hamartia, tragic flaws , eror of judgment. At the end of the plat Othello kills his lover Desdemona then he come to know that she is not bittered to him and he felt guilty and he kills himself. So we can feels pity for Othello.

> Yes, there are tragedies follow necessary rules and regulation proposed by Aristotle like chain of cause and effect principle of probability and necessity, harmonious arrangement of incidents , unity of action etc.

> If we conclude all things one way plato's objection is right other way Aristotle views are right because, now a days people want to freedom and to live creative life they do not feel for moral life or immoral life.

Pehredar piya ki review

# I am opposed of this serial. I do not like its concept. For me 'Pehredar piya ki' is like an accident or a dream it is such a wonder. Just nine years CHILD gets married with double aged girl. It is an awful concept of child marriage which is banned in India. How can a little boy romance with a girl.this kind of story deteriorates society. India is known as a nation of youth so this kind of fantasy ruined youth. This is regressive for society.
